MoMA celebrates the legacy of influential art dealer and collector Ileana Sonnabend.

Born in Romania in 1914, Ileana Sonnabend had a remarkable career as an art dealer and collector. For half a century she championed many of the most innovative artists of her time and helped shape the course of postwar art in Europe and North America. Ann Temkin, Chief Curator of Painting and Sculpture at MoMA, gives NYC-ARTS a tour of the exhibition “Ileana Sonnabend: Ambassador for the New.”
