As a matter of fact, you can be suave just by the simple utterance of la la, because to that certain someone, "La-La Means I love you."
Here are the Delfonics.

- There's been a lot of criticism about, well destructive means, and of course we put destructive on the college campuses in quotes.
But we know that you have led a fight to try to raise money for your college institution and being one of the leaders, how do you feel about more student endeavors toward helping the administration or helping the institution?
- Well, you mentioned a minute ago about the generation gap.
I'd like to refer to it as a communication gap.
I think if there's some level of communication between students and faculty, they can reach some constructive solution.
- Now, when you mentioned communications gap, do you think most instructors are actually sympathetic with the students as far as it might be a financial condition the students are in or maybe poor study habits or not knowing what they'd like to do at a particular time.
Do you think faculty members are aware of the student problems and try to do something to help them or are they apathetic?
- I think they're aware.
I think it's up to the individual faculty to decide whether or not he or she should help the student or not.
I think it's a personal thing with faculty and students.
- How do you come or become successful?
- I think by individual effort.
- Now as a person, how do you plan or do you plan to be successful in life?
- Yes.
- What would you, how would you describe success as far as you're concerned?
What are your goals in life?
- Well, I plan to enter graduate school in the fall.
But as being successful, I think as I stated before, individual effort are being happy at what he would like to do.
- In student disorders, it has been said that so many times students get hung up in militant protest.
Not because they want to, but simply because of the fact they're afraid to disagree with those who are running the militant protest.
Do you think this is true or?
- I sure do.
- And how do you feel about students who are threatened if they don't participate?
- Well, I don't think it's right for a student to be threatened if he doesn't want to participate but I think that a student body should be together and what the majority of the group decides to do.
I think if they're doing it for a good reason, for a good purpose, I think that the whole student body should participate but I don't think anyone should be forced to do so.
(upbeat music) - Here comes the jobs, here comes the jobs.

Now a large portion of the effort is to provide summer work for school children.
Now businessmen are combing their plants right now for jobs that are ideal for people who are untrained for anything in particular.
But remember, they're willing to do some work and be on the payroll regularly.

Come on, gimme one baby all right?
Be little lenient on me.
- I see, now tell me this, I see from this application that you have two school age children.
How do you support them?
- Hey did you see the softball game last night on TV in national leagues?
- Yeah, so we believe in teamwork.
This is the basis of business and industry.
You must have teamwork in terms of getting production done and this type of thing.
- Right.
- Tell me this, would you accept a training situation, sir?
- Nah, nah, nah.
Look baby, I can't go through a training session.
There's no way, I need a job.
I can't afford a six month layback situation to get a job.
- Are you renting sir or buying a home?
How do you provide for your family?
- Well look, I'm pretty good with the rocks.
I'm pretty good with the cars.
I do this thing on the street, I get a little money, we make it.
- I see, you call yourself in the vernacular a hustler.
Is this what you?
- No, no, I'm not a hustler.
I'm just a provider, that's all.
Can't you see this?
- Are you a heavy?
- Hey look, I like your haircut there.
Why don't you go my way?
Don't you like this thing here?
This is known as the afro or the bush.

- Well look baby, everybody works for a little green, you know, and I've gotta have them dead presidents to sort of succeed, you see?
