Bend Pet Parade
Clip: Season 37 Episode 11 | 1m 57sVideo has Closed Captions
A parade of pets has been a beloved Bend event since 1924.
In Central Oregon’s largest city, thousands of pets take over downtown streets each Fourth of July. At the 2025 Bend pet parade, there were dogs galore and even a kangaroo. But not all pets are allowed to participate, which inspired a small, light-hearted protest.

We're fighting for Onion's right.
I think he would enjoy the right to at least have the option to be in the parade.
(upbeat music continues) - All right, everybody!
Welcome to the 2025 Bend Parks and Rec pet parade in partnership with the city of Bend.
We're so thankful you're here.
