>> MISSION POSSIBLE MAKER SPACE NATION IS A COMPETITION HOSTED BY THE CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY FOR THIRD THROUGH 12th GRADE EDUCATORS.
EDUCATORS CREATE A SHORT VIDEO FOR CHANCE TO WIN $30,000 WORTH OF MAKER SPACE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FOR THE SCHOOL.
MATERIALS AND COAT MAKER SPACE CAN INCLUDE EVERYTHING FROM 3-D PRINTERS, ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS AND ROBOTICS COMPONENTS, CARDBOARD, PAPER, GLUE.
SOME SCHOOLS DON'T HAVE THE FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO IMPLEMENT SOMETHING LIKE A MAKER SPACE.
WINNING $30,000 WOULD MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE FOR STEAM EDUCATION AT ANY SCHOOL.
ANYONE WHO EDUCATES STEAM SUBJECTS FOR THIRD THROUGH 12th GRADE AT ANY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF CHICAGO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER THIS COMPETITION.
THE IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER IS PARTICIPATION IS NOT LIMITED ONLY TO CLASSROOM TEACHERS.
